The design of a prosthesis is based on considerations like your overall health, activity level, strength and flexibility, employment requirements, hobbies and interests. The prosthesis consists of a custom socket to fit your residual limb and component parts like knees and feet, which are selected to fit your specific needs. All parts of the prosthesis require regular maintenance and occasional replacement to ensure optimal function.
La Rehab offers free initial consultations to allow you the opportunity to get to know your prosthetist, meet the team and make informed decisions about your care.
Since a prosthesis is a custom, it will require multiple visits to or from your prosthetist to ensure proper fit and function. La Rehab has multiple locations and offers in-home consultations and delivery for your convenience.
All O&P are custom designed in-house by Certified Orthotist / Prosthetist that utilize 3D software that incorporates 3D scans, x-rays and measurements to achieve a one of kind device specific to the needs of the patient.
